Dr. Cuauhtemoc Gonzalez
Growing up in Northern California, Dr. Gonzalez attended Stanford University where he majored in Anthropological Sciences and worked at a research lab in school. After graduation, he worked for the State of California, where he increased outreach between the state, local governments, and Native American tribes. However, he felt that something was missing in his life, and decided to pursue his passion for science by going to dental school.
After completing three years of dental school, Dr. Gonzalez moved to the east coast for a two-year pediatric dental residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He then went on to become a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, and he has been dedicated to helping his patients in Placer County ever since.
Dr. Gonzalez is passionate about pediatric dentistry and loves getting to know his patients and parents. Whether he's giving his brave patients high fives after their appointments or surprising parents at how well their children behaved, there is truly never a dull moment. Dr. Gonzalez is also proud when he’s able to complete a full treatment plan in a single visit, rather than requiring multiple appointments.
When he’s not busy helping his patients, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys cooking, making pizza, and baking complicated breads. He is passionate about healthy foods and is working on a mini backyard orchard. He loves spending quality time with his wife and kids, building legos, gardening, and teaching them interesting facts.

From the moment you and your child step in, our friendly team welcomes you with warmth and care. Your child's first visit includes a gentle cleaning, a thorough exam by Dr. Gonzalez, and x-rays. We prioritize comfort and fun, ensuring your little one leaves with not just a bright smile, but also with happy memories of their dental adventure with us. We're here to make every visit enjoyable and worry-free!
Preparing for the Visit
To keep your visit smooth, please complete new patient paperwork before the appointment. Also be sure to bring your insurance information, photo ID, and a list of any medications your child is taking. We're here to help, so please feel free to ask any questions or tell us your concerns.
